The Georgetown University Center for Retirement Initiatives (CRI) will host its Annual State-Facilitated Retirement Savings Program Network (SRSPN) Conference on January 28-29, 2025, at the Renaissance Nashville Hotel, in Nashville, Tennessee.

Arrival by Car to the Renaissance Nashville Hotel
The Renaissance Nashville Hotel has valet parking available for a fee. Additionally, there are paid self-parking options nearby that are not affiliated with the hotel.
FROM THE NORTH
Take US-31 S/US-41 S/US-431 S past the Tennessee state capital.
Turn left onto Commerce Street.
The Renaissance Nashville Hotel will be on the right, on the corner of 7th Avenue N and Commerce Street.
FROM THE SOUTH
Take US-31 N past the I-40/I-65 overpass.
At the traffic circle, take the third exit onto 8th Avenue S.
Turn right onto Broadway Street.
Take the next right onto 7th Avenue N.
The Renaissance Nashville Hotel will be on the right, on the corner of 7th Avenue N and Commerce Street.
Arrival by Train
The Riverfront train station (8303 NW 37th Avenue Miami, FL 33147) is served by the regional WeGo Star train and is located approximately 0.5 miles from the Renaissance Nashville Hotel. Unfortunately, there is no Amtrak station located in Nashville, Tennessee.
The nearest Greyhound Station is located at 709 Rep John Lewis Way South, Nashville, TN 37203. It is located approximately 1 mile from the Renaissance Nashville Hotel.
Arrival by Air – Nashville International Airport
Nashville International Airport (BNA) is served by many national and regional airlines. The airport, located in southeastern Nashville, is approximately 8 miles from the hotel. The airport is served by a variety of ground transportation. You can use WeGo Public Transit (formerly MTA) to travel to and from the Nashville International Airport. Once at the Central 4th Ave (Bay 13) stop take the 18 Airport Route to get to Nashville International Airport. The estimated time to Nashville International Airport from the Central 4th Ave (Bay 13) stop is 35 minutes. Executive Director
Illinois Secure Choice Retirement Savings Program
Christine Cheng
Christine Cheng, a recipient of the 2025 Best of the State Spotlight Award, serves as Executive Director of Secure Choice for the Illinois State Treasurer’s Office. In her role, she oversees implementation and expansion of the Illinois Secure Choice retirement savings program to increase retirement savings access for private-sector workers, helping to ensure that more Illinoisans can retire with dignity. Prior to joining the Illinois State Treasurer’s Office, Christine spent 17 years working on improving financial health and benefits access for Illinoisans, including involvement in Illinois’s largest free tax preparation program and a statewide coalition to help Illinois residents access their stimulus checks and the expanded Child Tax Credit. Christine has a BA in Cognitive Science from Northwestern University.

Delaware EARNS
Ted Griffith
Ted Griffith, a recipient of the 2025 Best of the State Spotlight Award, was named the first program director for Delaware EARNS in March 2023. He brings to this role within the Delaware Office of the State Treasurer extensive experience in financial planning as well as marketing and communications. A Certified Financial Planner (TM) professional, Ted worked for 16 years at the global investment company Vanguard. Most recently, he was a high-net worth financial advisor and helped to oversee $100 million in client assets. He was also a marketing and communications manager with responsibility for fund reports and other content distributed to millions of investors. Before his career in financial services, Ted was an award-winning journalist for a variety of outlets, including CBS MarketWatch and The News Journal. He is an active volunteer in his community for organizations including the Beau Biden Foundation for the Protection of Children and the Down Syndrome Association of Delaware. From 2019 to 2024, he was the treasurer for the Down Syndrome Association of Delaware. He and his wife Krista live in Wilmington, Delaware with their two sons, Sam and Nate.
