On February 11, 2019, Angela Antonelli, CRI’s Executive Director, assisted the National Association of State Treasurers (NAST) with hosting a Treasurers’ roundtable on state-facilitated retirement savings programs at its February legislative meeting in Washington, D.C. The roundtable was chaired by Oregon Treasurer Tobias Read. The states and other attendees heard updates on the progress of program implementations in Oregon, California, and Illinois and discussed the possibility of multi-state collaboration among states and programs in the future.
