On November 15, 2024, CRI Executive Director Angela Antonelli spoke at a conference titled “Preparing for the Silver Tsunami” hosted by the South Florida Regional Planning Council at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida. She was joined on her panel – “Responding to an Aging Population: Programs and Policies” – by the The Honorable Jeff Kottkamp, Executive Vice President and General Counsel, Florida TaxWatch and Former Lieutenant Governor of Florida; The Honorable Nan Rich, Mayor, Broward County and Former State Senator, District 34 Chair, Area Agency on Aging of Broward County; Laura Streed, Senior Associate State Director, AARP of Florida; and Max B. Rothman, JD, LL.M., President & CEO, Alliance for Aging, Inc.-Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties.
